Espeto
With the Espeto I set out to design and build the ultimate travel guitar, uncompromising quality and tone, and built to perform. It is a scaled down, headless version of my Forty-Four model. The finished instrument is less than 30” long, can weigh as little as 3.3 lbs but make no mistake though, the Espeto sounds massive and is built with the same standards and material quality as all Island instruments.
It’s a road worthy guitar that is played by many professional musicians all over the world and over the years has become probably the signature Island electric model.
The Espeto has a 23.5” scale and is outfitted with my custom hardware and electronics. It can be largely customized within the constraints of its small footprint.
